Every Queenslander has the right to feel safe, and be safe, especially in their home. Domestic, family and sexual violence are violations of this basic human right.
In response to the landmark report of the Special Taskforce on Domestic and Family Violence in Queensland, Not now, not ever: Putting an end to domestic and family violence in Queensland, the Queensland Government is implementing a 10-year reform program to eliminate domestic and family violence in our community.
All 140 recommendations from the Not now, not ever report have been delivered.
The Queensland Government is also committed to providing a strong, cohesive and evidence-based approach to preventing and responding to sexual violence in Queensland.

The Queensland Government is leading a 10-year reform program to put an end to DFV in partnership with the non-government sector, business and the Queensland community. The reforms are making important investments and improvements across all sectors of DFV support, response and prevention.
