Teacher Certification

Thank you for your decision to pursue the requirements for earning a professional teaching certificate here in Florida. To be certified as a teacher in the state of Florida, candidates are required to pass a series of three tests: the General Knowledge Test, Subject Area Exams and the Professional Education Test.

This group of tests is called the Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCE). The USF College of Education offers test preparation resources for the FTCE exams. Based on our years of experience with proven techniques and strategies, we are confident that our test prep resources can help you achieve your goals. We offer a differentiated menu of options for test-prep, which includes pre-assessments, practice tests, face-to-face workshops and online workshops.
