Mercer University offers two ways to apply for admission for first-year students: The Common Application or the Mercer Application. We do not have a preference, and we encourage you to use the option that is most convenient for you. We evaluate every application using the same process, starting with your transcripts. If you choose to submit your test scores, we review them at this step as well. These are important benchmarks to ensure that you will be academically successful at Mercer. But these numbers don’t tell us who you are. That’s why we evaluate the entire application. We want to know what you’re passionate about, what your goals are, and how you plan to change the world.

For application requirements and important dates and deadlines, visit our First-Year Admissions webpage.

Applicants to Mercer’s residential undergraduate program on the Macon campus with more than nine (9) semester hours after high school graduation are considered transfer students.
